right now sam's favorite music includes the pogues, elvis costello, and the flaming lips... any hope it'll stay this way and we'll avoid barney, raffi, and the rest? doubtful, i know...

hey kids music isn't all that bad, but skip the barney! billy jonas, cathy & marcy, trout fishing in america, raffi and even barenaked ladies and they might be giants have kids stuff now! more tolerable for the parental types than barney and radio disney for sure!:)
actually, since this post, we've been using a cathy & marcy cd as our bedtime music, and i quite enjoy it.
.... and Dan Zanes (from the Del Fuegos) is now making only kids music.
Garcia/Grisman "Not for Kids Only" lasted a long time for us
