The 2006 Shenandoah Mountain 100

sm100_2006-09-03_11-44-27

Ok, my SM100 pictures are finally up somewhere that you can see them. I haven't posted all of them and there's a reason for that. I went out to stokesville to try and tell the story of the event. To this end i've posted an edited selection of the pictures that i took that i think acomplish this goal. This isn't the final product, but i'd like to get the pictures out there and get some feedback about what people think. Rather than look through the thumbnails for pictures of you and your friends, do yourself a favor and look at the slideshow (and let me know, good or bad, what you think).

View set as a slideshow (recomended)

Great story Joe,
I could tell by the way you were working that this is what you had in mind. I've been looking forward to seeing it

A very cool slide show that really captures the spirit of the event. I guess that's why Ricky is eating in all his pictures? ;)

Nice show, Joe. I think you really captured the event. I really like the picture of Jerimiah at the finish, the kiss picture (the one where the blond woman seems enamoured, rather than grossed out by her likely smelly significant other) the exhausted finishers, the volunteers. I thought there were a few too many at the bottom of the single track in the grassy area (I think just before CP1)

I also like the fact that you got Joe P walking.

Great photo's. If you get bored and see any the the campsite or pavilion pics you got of me I'd love to see them. (Desert camo hat, the campsite next to where you parked your truck).
